This dazzling, shimmery silk floral from Suzhou, China catches the eye before the real scene-stealer, a 1950’s floral-form brooch (2”) steals away the attention. The two seem to glimmer and enhance each other, as the stones of the prong-set brooch highlight the colors on the silk. Black cabochons accent the large center stone, and certain stones are finished with a rich turquoise shade while others are aurora-borealis finished. Tying the pillow together is a beautiful, double-sided purple and green silk ribbon with black scalloped edging.
